I am looking into purchasing a new computer with the new windows vista premium, and was told that the new vista no longer allows you to copy paste. Such as if I am doing a report for school and need information from the internet, that I would no longer be able to use the copy and paste function that I use on windows XP. Can anyone tell me if this is true?

Outlook is *closed*, yet it still retrieves mail and leaves the envelope notice in the task bar. I see the envelope, open the progam and there's mail in the InBox. Again, the program is CLOSED, yet it retrieves the mail. Very strange.... Does anyone have any idea about this? thanks.

i have just got nero 7 and the blank disc im using don't copy on to i tryed another disc and it work good am im doing anything wrong i dont think it is my discs my old nero work on them my disc are tuffdisc please please could anyone help

People are confused about this. I have Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 3. It is a genuine copy and it is an operating system. I don't know why people think it has not been released. It is an OEM (Other Equipment Manufacturer) copy, by the way. So how do I achieve my goal?

i have taken the steps given by opening my soft ware coral drew and i clicked on the tools in the menu bar and a dialog box appeared i clicked on customize to restore the mixing properties and the soft ware instantly closes by giving a warning box (end now or report)

I have MS Windows XP Service Pack 3 installed on my system. It had vista style icons before.

Now some icons have reverted back to their usual SP2 looks. I tried the inbuilt "tweakui" utility to try to rebuild icons, but that doesn't seem to help.

Is there any way I can get my vista style icons without reinstalling windows or installing Vista Transformation Pack?

i have some work in the software but each time i open it it hids the property bar and the texttool with other tools and if i click on view to bring it back it will show me a wrning box that has two option either report the problem or end it now

You all know it. You buy a program (or download a free one), proceed out to install it, and then, out of the blue, comes this horrendously long piece of small print legalese, and you can't finish the install, much less use the program, unless you click the right buttons or check the box to say that you agree to it. This is the so called EULA (End User Licence Agreement).

Now, you never sign a thing, and the piece is presented to you only after you started installing the thing, and possibly paid good money to it first, and they often are trying to make you sign away some basic rights.

So are those really enforceable?
