im anew user of mac os and i really need help in getting around with it.so um..can anyone out there tell me how to install a program in mac os. ?such as autocad, visio, etc

First of all, your programs should state that they are specifically for a Mac -- if they do not, you will have major problems.

Mac is pretty self explanatory like a PC. Mostly just put the disk in and click next, next, next, I agree and finish. BUT, it has to be a Mac program, or it wont work. Macs are great computers, but they are crap as far as needing proprietary software. Go back to PC until they work that out.
