I got the iso image so i cant reformat can should i be able to install over xp because its not letting me..?

not possible. . .try to get that image onto a cd and then try. . .still you will have to reformat the system, for sure. . .

Trained service technicians won't do that. Too many left over straggles screw up the new upgrade.
Our shop will NOT do anything other than a CLEAN INSTALL!
Even on Macs!
I really do recommend avoiding Vista for at least ONE YEAR!!!
Wait for all the bugs to get either acknowledged, or ignored, and study their intent!
Meanwhile, wise folks are running http://pclinuxos.com for the 3D graphics!
