which is the best and latest computer game [windows 98,xp] ?

Well, best is a matter of opinion, and latest.....? there are probably little java games released every day.
Two very popular games at the moment are World of Warcraft, which has recently had an expansion pack released (7 million players worldwide I hear), and Sims 2, which seems to have an expansion pack coming out every few weeks!!
Expansion packs allow developers to create new content for their popular games. That pleases the customer because these expansions are generally cheaper than a brand new game, but offer hours of new content.
If you're a casual gamer, I'd say Sims 2 is for you. If you want one game to take over your life for the next few years, choose World of Warcraft.
