does anybody out there know how to format a mac os?

i am using an apple i buk with an intel processor..is it possible to install windows in it?

Not by formatting and loading Windows, that will not work. What you need to do is download bootcamp(free) from Apple. That will allow you to partition your hard drive and load Windows on it.

It uses the HFS+ filesystem
