Software - February 2007

Hey everyone.

Right im currently trying to make my own windows xp pro install disk using nlite and to some degree have been succesful i.e intergrated my drivers to install everytime i need to format etc.

But does anybody know how to add applications to the install so lets say for example i wanted nero and office 2003 to install automatically as well. So i would end up with a bootable cd/dvd that installs windows and apps?

Also how do i manually download the latest xp pro updates from microsoft as i want to intergrate them aswell.

Any help at all would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance

What is the difference between the OEM & the "full version" of the Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium. Why such a price difference?? Is it not the OEM version that's installed into the new Computers ??

I'm using windows movie maker & i have about 30+ story board slides or whatever you call them, but i want to add an mp3 song as the soundtrack for the whole movie, not just one individual slide / clip?
Can anyone help?

a few years ago, I downloaded ARES onto my computer for free in order to download unlimited music, videos, ect. I thin kthe government found out about the program or sometrhing and so I got rid of it. Now I'd like to re download ARES onto my computer...but I forget how. Does anyone know?

i have to print something off of Freemind but the damn professor made the map so big that when it fits on one page you can't even read it. how do i print it so it's not like 50 pages, but so i can read it?

I need to add the sum of one cell in 1000 files. The files are all the same, with the required cell in the same location as well. What I need to do is add the sum of all of these files without actually opening them and pasting a link into another sheet, or copying the data into another sheet. Does anyone know an easy way to retrieve the data? Thanks.

ok i have column A as a manger name, Column B with Customer, and whenever i filter Column B to go in ascending order so they are alphabetically lined up. and for some reason i cant get column A to line up as well. can anyone help me?

The copy of Diablo 2 is an original release edition. It works fine on windows 2000...I just need it to run on my new comp. that uses windows XP.

I need free professional or almost professional animation software that can do stuff like news and ticker animations or green screen, and I would like to be able to make effects like explosions, and I would like it to do all that with the recorded video that I recorded with my camera. I would like it to save its files as AVI or wma or anything that I could further edit with Windows Movie Maker.

If you right-click in Internet Explorer right now you should see an "Export to Excel" option... mine is missing. Does anyone know how to get it back on the pop-up menu list?
