A Google search shows a helluva lot of sites mentioning it in the same breath as "virus" or "spyware" so I certainly wouldn't touch it with a bargepole:

NetPumper is a download manager that also installs a number of adware components with it such as cydoor, Save!, ClockSync, and WhenU Toolbar.
