Software - February 2007

I have tried to install Ofice 2007 lately but everytime I try, it sais that there is an error 2908 or 1935 error. Why does it do that and how can I fix it?

I am buying a new harddrive for my computer and plan to install it before I download vista. Does this mean that I need to buy the FULL version of windows vista because there will be no previous Windows copies on my computer. (I dont own any of the old Windows CD's)

I keep getting this message every once in a while and when I try to run some old software

"A problem has caused the program to stop working correctly , Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available"

It is in a Box that pops up and I can not figure out how to fix this - anyone have a similar problem with Vista?

Just wondering... is it possible to transfer songs from limewire to a CD? Because I need it for this thing, and I'm trying to find out how... is it even possible? From limewire? I downloaded the song, and I know how to get it onto Itunes,but how do you get it onto a CD? If anyone can help, thanks a bunch xD

Whenever i try to download aim for my mac it says there is a quicktime error and will not install aim. I checked and quicktime is updated all the way. Any ideas?

Ok, This problem has occured about three times now, I still cant figgure out why, im begining to think its a virus so i downloaded Avast and scaned EVERYTHING it took like six hours, and it came up clean, So, my question to you is.... What is it? and how can i fix it? detals below

-Basicly my computer has started running super slow, whenever i play music it sounds like im playing a cd that has had sand-paper taken to it, video is worse, this got a little better after i uped my ram (1 gb now) but it still happens
- I play Halo online alot (pc game) and i cant join any games because of the speed im running at, if i do somehow get in w/o timing out of server conection its too lagy to work
-If i play campaign it runs OK but not great, except, when it saves a checkpoint or loads a section of the map, then it runs S L O W to the fifth power.......

All the other times I had this problem I had to re-install my system, this time i cant re-install cause i have no way of backing up...help

I have an Apple Imac G4 and already have iLife 04' but I really want to star making podcasts and GarageBand 6 seems to be really great for that, because I will want to add pictures etc. but I DON'T want to buy the whole iLife '06 because it would be much too expensive! Help!

I recently got my computer back after it had to be cleaned (files) and i lost a lot of stuff, and somehow the default windows games were deleted. i went to add/remove programs and then click on windows setup, then choose accessories and i see games there but when i click on it it says that i need the os disk. on the right of window setup tab it says startup disk, can i simply enter a floppy and then create a disk then insert the floppy and then add the games... or can anyone find those games on a microsoft download?

I have 2 people who have outlook on their machines on a network and the want to see/share a calendar to if person A books a room then person B will see that without having to go to person A's machine.
I know it's possible if MS Exchange is used.

ok...i bought my computer 2 yrs ago and have XP Home..... no MS Office programs at all on it . I was thinking about spenading the $400 and buying the Office Software but then my Aunt said that she has a disc that came with her computer that is an Office Professional bundle package with XP professional can I install that disc in my system....maybe? Can I install Office professional only and not the XP professional...will it work on XP Home? Any ideas?

i purchased a real estate program that has all its information on cd's and when you open it on your computer it's in adobe reader. but i want a hard copy of the information, is there any way to do that.
