What are the difference? Do I need all of these?

I downloaded Windows Vista Ultimate Edition 86x Genuine retail. I started the process i entered a key that was given and then when i got to the last bit of the process it asked me for the key again. So i entered the key and it said the key was invalid. Now is this because i installed the home basic edition and not the ultimate edition? My pc is capable for home basic and not any other.so i dont know if i need a key for home basic or do something different. I also tryed to install the vista without the key and i got vista but it wasnt anything i could use. The resolution wouldnt let me change it. So now im looking into cracks but not really sure if that will work. If i use the crack correctly will i get the full use of windows vista and the resolution will let me change it. If anyone could help me with this i would greatly appreciate it.

IE 7.0 will not operate nor will outlook express yet microsoft office works fine. Firefox works fine. Norton works but only if started by going to the total programs listings not off shortcuts which appear to be corrupted. Machine is 2.0 Ghz but is slow as ....

Internet Explorer 7 not only tracks your websites in the history bar but on my XP machine it tracks every document ever opened. Under history I found a "My Documents" icon that revealed every word doc, text doc, and spreadsheet opened. It even showed date and time.

Is there a way to stop it from doing this? It doesn't matter if IE7 was ever used for the week or not. It still records the computer user's activities. Too much Big Brother for my tastes.

My wife does sensitive insurance work from time to time on the my computer and I don't like how easy IE7 makes it for anyone to snoop. And deleting the history in IE7 every day doesn't make any sense.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Why do things have these numbers after them?

For example in AOL they have different versions like 2.0 or things like 3.1 or like on AIM they have versions 6.1 or 5.9.

How do they get these numbers?

I had my computer upgraded and the computer guy installed windows professional on there before I had window xp home edition I have the cd but not the code I want window xp home edition back because this new program I cannot update Microsoft now does it recognize my floopy disk or my hp printer/scanner...please help..thanks

When I try to run a DVD on my computer the sound is slow and the motion is also slow. It does the same thing whenever I play a CD. When I first bought my computer I didn't have this problem.
I assume I need to adjust some settings but I have no idea what I
need to do. Could someone please explain to me what they think the problem is and what I can do to fix it? I would appreciate it very very much.

that says ZoneSetupProc could not be found or library zoneoc.dll cannot be loaded. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I would appreciate any help.
