I'm trying to download Paddy Power Poker software to my MAC but it is a windows based programme. They tell me that I can get software that will enable me to do this but I've had no luck.

Boot Camp will boot your Mac with Windows in addition to OS X. Parallels ($80) and a licensed copy of Windows will also do the job.

Hello sparkeeey,

If you don't have the newer Intel-based Macs and have the older PowerPC Macintosh, you can buy Microsoft's Virtual PC for Mac to run Windows programs on your Mac. You can read about that at the Mactopia web site here:

http://www.microsoft.com/mac/products/virtualpc/virtualpc.aspx?pid=virtualpc

There are some good poker programs for the Mac by the way. Check out VersionTracker:

Best of luck to you.

You can get Boot Camp or Parallels to allow you to run Windows software on an Intel-based Mac, although you also have to buy a copy of Windows, I believe.
