I find a number of .log files in various folders. will removal of these files affects programe running?

I am tidying up my computer content and have been uninstalling unused programs. I have found listed in the "Add/Remove", a program called "LSE - Database". It occupies 330+ MB and is classed as "Rarely or never run" I would like to remove it but this is a lot of data and I am nervous. I can't find it in the Program folder and a computer search using "LSE" produces nothing. Does anyone know what it might be?

i went to msconfig but it says nerocheck.exe and i don't know if i need it because the only thing is use nero is for making a copy of my favorite cd's so can some one tell me if i need it???????

hello, I am looking for a converter from .wmv into .avi (DivX). In my computer I have one programm called STOIK Video Converter 2 (freeware version) but he doesn't convert .wmv into DivX although he has such option.
I have many .wmv files recorded from free TeleVision (3ABN or HopeChannel) and I would like to convert into DivX that other people could watch this on their DVDplayers..
Could you help me?

I searched the computer for files containg the word paint, and I can get to it, but the program is not responsive. Any help would be appreciated. I'm using it the make photos of my friend on someone else's body, so if you know good software, that would also help!

I am putting together some tutorials for my site and I would like my site visitors to have the option of being able to view these tutorials visually.
So what kind of software would I need to record my movements on a PC and where would I be able to get this software.

I'm not worried about prices just yet. I'm seeing what options I have available to me.

I have AVG free on my desktop. But I also have AD-AWARE SE plus, I baught this program at Walmart. I use both, but I am thinking that my Ad-Aware is getting all the bugs, cause when I run AVG, it never gets anything, so can I just get rid of the AVG free?

I was having some trouble with software so after I got fed up, I bought a program to erase the disk and start over. The software said to make a boot disk first, which I did. This was supposed to clean the disk so it was like a new hard drive. After it ran, I tried to boot up - I have used everything (old emergency disks, old boots, etc) including the boot disk I made. The only thing that comes to the screen is:

First the INTEL Pentium 4 screen comes up.

Then it says " NTLDR is missing. Press ctl-alt-del to restart "

Any suggestions????

I know that it is not a virus or a spyware, because i scan my computer with kaspersky, nod32, ewido, trend micro antispyware and spybot and they didnt find anything.
It usually happens when i use three or four programs at the same time such as mozilla, windows live messenger, emule and word.
I have 2,13Ghz and 512Mb ram

I understand that the music on Limewire isn't free and requires purchase. But I wouldn't think that pictures would fall into that catagory and that is the trouble I am having.
I can download images but can't open them. There is a small red box to the left of the file name and when I click to open the picture I downloaded, nothing happens.
Any ideas of what I am not doing, or doing wrong?

I can get into safe mode, but when ever it tries to load windows, it just restarts. I dont have any anti virus on that computer. Think its a virus? Can I download some onto a cd and then put it on that computer in safe mode?
