I have AVG free on my desktop. But I also have AD-AWARE SE plus, I baught this program at Walmart. I use both, but I am thinking that my Ad-Aware is getting all the bugs, cause when I run AVG, it never gets anything, so can I just get rid of the AVG free?

The two programs perform different functions. AVG Free Edition is an anti-virus program. Ad-Aware SE from Lavasoft is designed to find mal-ware and ad-ware. You need both on your computer. The fact that AVG "never gets anything" is just indicative that it didn't find a virus or trojan etc on your system. Keep both programs updated, and protect your system.

They are two different applications. AVG is anti-virus. Ad-Aware is anti-spyware. You should use both.
