I am tidying up my computer content and have been uninstalling unused programs. I have found listed in the "Add/Remove", a program called "LSE - Database". It occupies 330+ MB and is classed as "Rarely or never run" I would like to remove it but this is a lot of data and I am nervous. I can't find it in the Program folder and a computer search using "LSE" produces nothing. Does anyone know what it might be?

There is an LSE network, maybe that will be of some use. A search for LSE throws up nothing much of use; As you say its a lot to delete and find you needed.
Have you been doing any study via the London School of Ecconomics as that was the first thought I had, but then I suppose that would probably be obvious if you had!;

if you have a operating disk like xp then you can install it on to your pc and you can reformat your disk back to when it was out of the factory ,

the newer pc have a recovery partion in them . others have a recover disk that you make yourself from the pc its self. i have hp pavillion and when it starts up i have to press the the F10 button then it gives me a choice to set it back to when it was new factory setting

I have also got a packaerd bell that has a recovery disk i have to put that in to reset that pc , when doing it on this pc an error message comes up , you have to take the disk out and then place another disk in . then take it back out and put the first disk back in and it then carries on with the installation,

by the way when you do when you do this to your pc you have to save any files you want to keep if you do not you will loss them all.

different pc from different supplier do things different ways hope this has helped you by the way if you delete the lse and pc does not work then you will have to do one of the methods that i have told you . and i am not an expert just telling you things that i have had to work out for my self
