i dual booted XP and Vista, but now the dual boot wont go away i got rid of vista by formating that partition and it still asks me which if i want to boot vista or an earlier version of window...

CAN ANYONE HELP?

Kazaa, Shareaza, Limewire E.T.C P2P Softwares.. are killing peoples life. coders working day and night.

I was able to get games on Boxerjam, some games are unable to download, I was able to get all the games, it keeps stating unable , reason I do not have C:\Windows\systems 32directory, what is the reason for this?

I am a previous windows (hardcore (2003 server admin)) user, and have recently been astounded by how great linux is. I am about to buy a new computer, and was wondering to all the mac users, do you miss windows? Are there things you find you just need a windows pc to do? Is it worth me pouring my money into a new mac, or buying a pc to put linux and windows on it? or can i put windows linux and mac on a mac?

Any answers to the above would be appreciated, especially those that can put a bit of detail.

So I'm 20 years old and I thought I was pretty good with this kind of stuff, but I'm coming across 13/14/15 year olds on myspace where they take their picture, and edit the color of their eyes, whether its from brown to blue, or blue to teal ... etc. What program does this, and how do I do it?! Your help would be greatly appreciated :)

Is it possible load also the limited OEM Driver during Windows XP Installation Set Up?

If boot from Windows XP CD, it will load some common driver, but my hard disk driver is a limited OEM. Is there possible load also the limited OEM from Windows XP CD?

IE is giving me a constant speed for download of any file more than 100-200MB. But Mozilla i think is good for browzing.So should I use IE or Mozilla coz i download a lot and i hate download managers.

I am looking for a free video player that I can download to my system to play vids I have downloaded. I have an application that uses the Java Runtime Environment, and is intended to run with the environment at roughly 35,000k memory usage with it. However, instead the application runs javaw.exe at roughly 80,000k memory usage (making the application run very poorly).

I have isolated the problem into being caused by the application or Java itself. While I have not fully isolated the problem from being the application, it is a very unlikely possibility. To resolve the problem I have restarted the computer, reinstalled the current environment, and tried using several different runtime releases (such as the latest, and several past stable releases), but the problem persists.

How would I resolve this problem so that the application runs at the intended speed?

I'm trying to delete songs from my library in iTunes but then i have to right-click and delete the songs one at a time. I can't highlight x amount of songs and delete all of them because it just drags the first song i click. is it possible to delete more than one song at a time?
