I am looking for a free video player that I can download to my system to play vids I have downloaded. All I want to do is play video files from one folder, and to turn the contents of that one folder into a playlist. I need a player that is open to all video file types. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

VLC media player. always. it can convert videos also.

Quicktime is pritty good with almost all formats. But a few of the features are locked on the free version.

There aren't alot of players that can play EVERY type of music file. I just use CCCP. Which plays like most of them, I like it. Someone above me mentioned it without a ....HERE

i lost my codec key so i got that back by down loading the orion studios dvd-hd player from nuisance , they have stocks of share ware resources

i use CCP (Combined Community Codec Pack)..

it plays all formats even .swf
