Windows has basic utility to edit registry. If you know about it u can use it.
Go to Run and type regedit and press enter.
Another way is to download registry cleaner.
I know one from www.iolo.com called system mechanic. It does a lot other stuff to! But this is trial ware. It will run for 30 days only unless u register it!

Tune up utilities 2006. Email me when you have it, installed and I will provide you with the serial that makes it the full version. BUT you cannot updae it with the serial I give you. The current version will do all you need for awhile. It works wonders!

You can also try using CCleaner which is a free tool that can correct some registry entries. it's not as thorough as JV16 Powertools, but that one is not free.
