Has anyone ever used or know about an anti-virus program called "WinAntiVirus Pro 2006"?I've been thinking about downloading it,can you offer some good advice or recommend a good anti-virus site...a free one or reasonable cost one.Thank you.

I'm not sure about WinAntiVirus, but I definitely recommend AVG. I have used it for years now and it has worked extremely well for me. It's free to download, and you can find it at the link below.

It's not a good program at all. Two of the best are free: Avast and AVG. AVG's free version will be replaced in January with an upgraded free version, so if you decide on AVG, you can download and install it, then upgrade it in January.

Do not down load unknown softwares. You insatll a standard antivirus soft ware such as Norton, AVG , Avast ( free antivirus software and Ad-aware, Ewido ( free spyware removers). You can download free softwares at

winantivirus is possibly the worst antivirus program that i have ever used. when i used it allowed viruses to get on my computer. i would switch over to either Avast or ZoneAlarm. both are reasonably priced and they both work extremely well.

it's a worst program.I came to know about this from various net users.use avg or avast for free and nod32 for payed
