message says..

Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: WINNT\SYSTEM\CONFIG\SYSTEM32
You can attempt to repair this file by starting windows setup using the orginal setup CD-ROM
select 'r' at the first screen to start repair

anyway to manually repair??
whats the orginal setup CD-Rom?

i dont know about you but i think that ie7 has some thing in it that fcks up windows xp pirate edition, their seems to be endless people moaning about it on here and at work, and every one i ask is using xp pirate, personally mine is the real thing and i have no probs and think it good.

do you think it is possible for them to do this?

When using Microsoft Moviemaker the set time for video effects is 5 seconds.......I was wondering is there a way to extend this time? I can find the option to extend transitions but not video effects.

I installed windows media player 11 but after I installed it a window came up saying that it was not properly installed and must be reinstalled. I don't know what to do, I can't figure out to reinstalled. I''m stuck. Can someone please help me out?

When I email a .ppt presentation with a sound track, the sound does not play on receipt. Sounds from clip files (clapping, fireworks etc) do play in the presentation when emailed, but .wav files inserted from recordings saved on my hard drive do not. Is there a way to embed them?

I read the FAQ, ReadMe, etc. on the Microsoft website for 11, but I did not find this question or answer. They state to get latest updates before installing 11. Is 11 just another level built upon 10? They mention creating a specific file in 11...a monitor file? I cannot locate where I read this. Any advice? Thanks.

I tried pausing the video and using the print screen function to copy the image to a word document but that doesn't work as the video still plays in the window in the word document.

I'm trying to use a mail merge to help me make my file labels for the new year. I want to print them on some avery stickers where it fills each box with a different record. So far I've only been able to get it to do like full sheets of only 1 record and I need full sheets of each record. I don't have much experience with mail merges, how do I get it to put a different record on each box? There it puts record 1 into every box.

i recently downloaded a DVD animation from limewire, but it will not play. windows media player shows a pop up saying that i need the decoder DX50 in order to see the movie.

Which photo program can you use to cut out a picture and place it on another background? I have HP photosmart premiere and Irfanview but I don't think either of these will do it? Hopefully something free or cheap... THANKS
