PLEASE REMEMBER THAT ANY PROGRAMS YOU REMOVE MAY BE ATTACHED TO OTHER PROGRAMS AND YOU COULD MESS UP THE OTHER PROGAMS TOO. Have you tried cleaning out cookies? how about running Ad-Aware it's free, you can also run Panda Anti Virus Scan, it's free too. You are not going to help your computer very much by removing programs from the hard drive. The RAM memory is what is important and the free services I mentioned will help you out with freeing up memory. Good Luck

The programs you list, other than the Microsoft Works thing, look like system programs or required drivers. I wouldn't delete those. Safe uninstalls can be done by clicking "add or remove programs" from the control panel. Other programs that reside in your Programs folder may also be safely deleted. You should also clear your Internet cache to free up space.

ATI Control Panel (conrol panel for display)
ATI Display Driver (display drivers)
Conexant D110 MDC V.9x Modem (modem driver)
Dell Driver Reset Tool (optional, if you may need to reset drivers)
DivX Web Player (plays online videos in divx format)
Intel(R) PROSet/Wireless Software (wireless drivers)
Macromedia Flash Player (plays internet media content)
Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 (some programs require this to be installed)
Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Hotfix (KB886903) (upgrade to the .net framework)

You can uninstall the rest safely.

for starters uninstall all the java's, then go to their site and install the latest version if you even need java. I assume all the hp stuff is for a printer (all you really need is the printer driver). You can safely uninstall all the msxml stuff, you don't need both spybot and adaware. Do you ever use Microsoft Works? and do you really need more than one video player? just get a codec pack for media player. Microsoft Onenote? get rid of it.

hi, a way to clean up your computer is to go to accessories then system tools, there should be a disk cleanup and a disk defragmenter there, run both of them, one at a time. this should speed up your computor. added memory should be added to your computor, the cost is around $100.00 if a friend puts it in for you, and while your at it for another $100.00 put a backup system onto your computor. i am assuming that you have good security system from someone like norton. have a good life, live ever day. john
