Download and install CloneDVD and AnyDVD. AnyDVD removes the encryption automatically in the background and you can burn backups using Clone DVD. Both are free to try for 21 days and they keep the AnyDVD software updated to bypass the latest encryptions. You can download both programs here http://www.slysoft.com/en/download.html once downloaded and installed you can compress and burn a 3 hr dvd to a 4.7 gb DVD in about an hour and keep all of the extras, trailers, etc or you can burn just the main movie in even less time. Best program I have found. Give it a try for 21 days and see what you think.

DVD shrink (the software has not been updated in a while but works pretty well). I also like DVDnextCopy - quick and easy and the quality of the burns is top notch

Try DVD43 for decrypting, it's what I use and seems to work flawlessly. It requires no interaction once installed, it just sits in your system tray and works automatically when you go to burn.

Also, here's a tutorial about it ripping and burning DVDs:

I use them both and they work great. Make sure in dvddecrypter you unable burn with nero, and in dvd shrink, put in a disc any movie, click open disc, when it opens to movie name, click back up.that will give you a select back up target.(iso.image file and burn with dvddecrypter) and select target image file.(c:\............,iso movie name is in there. Dont burn with nero, decrypter lets you use the cheaper dvds not DL and +r/rw i use it daily.email me if you need more help,i'm useally at my pc.Be glad to help..
