Software - December 2006

When I tried downloading a software and DirectX from the internet I got: The application or DLL C:\WINDOWS\System 32\dpnaddr.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette.
How can I fix this so I can successfully download/play the software?

im having problems with my new monitor. well the moitor is proving to be no problem but when i put a cd on it is playin to fast
so spoiling my enjoyment cant seem to slow the playing speed down and every song sounds like mickey mouse singing is there something ive done wrong all the leads are in right i have windows media player 10 please help im at my wits end trying to repair the problem havent been able to listen to any of my new cds or dvds or any thing i down load ..thanks

mean that someone has hacked my computer. btw im the only one who use my computer. Something has got to be wrong, right? What should I do myself to fix this problem? I also have 3 other virus protection programs: Ad-ware SE personal, AVG free, and Spybot Search and destroy. I have updated dated all three and have also scanned my computer with these programs, still everyday I scan, new critical objects. What else should I do what should I check?

2. try downloads.com - nothing found
3. try tucows.com - nothing found
4 - nothing found on.popcap.com

I have IE7 running and in Tab mode. Any time I'm on a web page, CTRL Left Click OPENS a new window (instead of selecting non-contiguous text). On 2 laptops, it still works properly. My desktop has a wireless mouse and keyboard (just put on the updates from MS) - still works the same way......In an Office program, it works the way it's supposed to..... but opens a brand new window whenever I CTL click on IE7. Didn't do it in IE6.......any fixes out there - I've tried a lot of things...... is this a Java problem by any chance or a quirky thing with IE7......hmmmmm.......??

I want to take today's date and subtract another date from it to find how long a person has been in a program. For example, today is Dec 27, 2006. The person started a program Feb 4, 2005. I want to show that the person has been in the program for 1 year 10 months...... can I do that in the same cell? How would I figure this out?

i installed a camera (kodak) program on my computer so that i could download my pictures from my camera. now when i try to view an image it goes through the kodak program and i dont want it to, i prefer the windows picture viewer.............

Its just...damn it! I am now gonna add details.

1) Uninstalled my Ideal Browser Firefox. When I thought it was useless, I uninstalled it. Maybe this have a connection?

2) Crap. The connection sucks today and it became super slow. Zzz... I cannot open many sites. Zzz...

3) Whoa. You have got to believe this. Here, in my country, it rained continuously for 2 days. Not quite a big deal right?

I have been thinking. Maybe it was the raining that caused the slow loading. And the Ideal Browser Firefox thingy just intertwined with Mozilla Firefox. Lol, I need to be precise here. and yes, there is such thing called Ideal Browser Firefox. Go Google it up.
