Downloading software?

When I tried downloading a software and DirectX from the internet I got: The application or DLL C:\WINDOWS\System 32\dpnaddr.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette.
How can I fix this so I can successfully download/play the software?

you might want to contact the company / site you got the software from since it sounds like there is an issue with one of the software dll files that is conflicting with windows.
