I am burning a movie (photos and songs) with Windows Movie Maker. Is the reason my DVD player won't play them is the highmat? Can I save the file in another type so i can watch it on any DVD player?

Try burning them in Windows Media Player.

I always use Nero. Try burning it with Nero as Video DVD and it will convert the file u created to V. DVD format witch should be playable on normal DVD players. Although I have not tried it on DVDs, because I don't have a DVD burner, but it is the only way the works with CDs.

dude, after you save your movie using Windows Movie Maker try using Nero to burn them to Video CD or Video DVD this way you will be able to play them back on DVD players..and the computer as well

How do you save it? On saving, there number of options. You need to save it as movie file (.avi) Try this and see.

you should save it as a .mpeg or .avi so it can play on dvd player. try both formats.

i tried it aswel and it stil dont work. but i tried it on my playstation and it did just save it as a movie and not the other options.
