In general, you can use the Touchup Text Tool for some small changes, including adding information.

note that the added information may not format properly, and if the document has been locked by its creator, then there is nothing you can do, short of ripping it.

If you have the time, save the file as an RTF, reformat it, make the changes and regenerate it.

No, to both.

From a quick Google of the name, I see that Acrobat Writer is a printer style utility designed to create PDF files. It is not designed to EDIT existing PDF Files.
