I've been getting mixed reviews on it..=/
a supervisor that I was doing CalTrans with recommended this software to me, and the software was recommended to him from a hacker that was doing community service for hacking into Bank of America's systems (apparently the hacker gave tips on great software and methods to prevent hackers from getting into personal info) (I wish i was there to listen first hand..that would've been great =_=;)...anyway, he says he loves it and that it's the best out of all programs he has used in the past
...but on circuitcity.com a customer put this review " Trash This software is horrible don't buy it. I put a trojan on my pc on purpose and it couldn't see it. Yet system analyzer on their site sees it." (18 out of 31 found this review helpful)
so now I'm like this @_@;;....so it would be real helpful to get more reviews from various users... ^_^*

It goes something like this...

"There is an IP conflict with another PC on this network"

I have a wireless network with good security protection.
My firewall is on and its a good one. Norton Internet Security.
I live alone and this is the only PC in the place.
If I log off and then log on again it goes away. Sometimes it comes back sometimes it doesnt.

Thanks for the help.

I am having big problem....I am a student at a University in the US, but we have just gotten stationed in Germany. With my German cable connection I have complete access to every website I have tried except for my schools website. I have been dealing with the engineers at my ISP and at my school and none of them know what to tell me. When i type in www.apsu.edu it will not recognize the website, but when I type in the numbers that correspond with the website ( I forgot off hand, but its something like 192.18.0.73...I just dont know what that number is called) the website will pull up, but I cant click any links on that page. On my neighbors computer I got the same response and we have the same ISP...so Im fairly confident I can rule out any problem with my computer.... but does anyone know what end might be causing this problem.....My internet provider or my school. Or.....how I can fix this. Any help is GREATLY appreciated !!

OK so here is the final once and for all question regarding Norton AV and a Trojan it found. I ran a full scan of my comp. So MY Norton AV2007 indicated to me it found a Trojan. At the end of the scan the trojan was in the quarantine section of the Norton "eval" Window. I deleted it from the quarantine. Since that time, I ran a full system scan in safe mode and several times in regulat mode. Norton eval does not indicate any virus spyware etc. Understanding that nothing is 100% accurate, is it safe to say within reason that the virus (that particular one) has been removed from my computer?

how can i check if my computer is being hacked/spammed? i have norton antivirus, and i scan my computer constantly and it always has this:

attention required: 1 - cookie tracked...low risk.

then i would click on "fix and remove problem" and 10 mins later when i run the norton scan again, it would find the same "cookie".

i also updated the program...and that same thing has been popping up everytime. is that a virus? somehow my computer has been running soooo slow lately.

norton is supposed to be really good right?

So, if Norton suspects that something in my c drive may be a trojan (in this case C:\WINDOWS\browser.exe) it will pull it, quarantine it. I then can either find the proper removal tool from Norton if I wish to remove it myself. But if I delete it from the quarantine file, I have removed it from my computer that way. Correct? Thats what I did. Deleted it from the quarantine section after it was caught and placed there. So by deleting it at that point and in that way, I deleted it from my computer, correct?

Hi, i opened a spam message in my email, saying it was a greeting card. I didn't think and just opened it which i don't normally do if i don't know who it's from. Anyway, this greeting card wouldn't open, and then Norton came up saying a recent attempt to attack your computer was blocked, then it came up again saying a virus has been blocked and removed from your computer, i think the virus was called (download) it said the file had been removed. My computer played up for a while and my yahoo email page wouldn't respond so i tried to end it on task manager, but that wouldn't work so i had to switch it off myself on the button of the tower, i had to do this twice. It seems ok now but i was worried if i had done any damage to my computer even though Norton sorted it out.
Will everything be ok now do you think????
