I was on a finance (stock) message board and became embroiled in an argument...The guy said he would get me...a few days later my computer was infected with a virus and everytime I went to log in my login area was not the usual login site. Could they have hacked into my computer via my ip address on the yahoo message board?

This is a very serious issue. Phishing scams are souless, faceless money criminals, uncatchable and invisible. How can they be caught? Really, can they be caught?

I'm in collge. One of my buddies watched porn on my pc, and they do random checks in our dorms to see that we have no BAD stuff. I do not want a fuss of an explanation. Can someone please tell me how I can delete it off my pc? I did delete the history. But I know it is still in the hard drive, where can I go on my pc to delete it.

Im in a jam my computer has caught a bug. When I run spybot to search for problems it finds "virtumonde" and "smitfraud-c.toolbar888" it removes "smitfraud-c.toolbar888" but it always comes back and it can't get rid of the virtumonde even after a system restart. i can't restore my computer because I guess the virus took away all previous restore dates. The main thing happening is slow computer performance and my norton internet security software (currentley way outdated) keeps asking me to block these things trying to connect to the internet the things connecting are random number sequences such as 589156.exe and after a while there will be a ton of random number .exe's run in the background. Please help me if you can you don't even know how much it will be appreciated. Thanks a lot!

I was playing a game when a popup shows up. Then I clicked X on it and It exited out. So I went back to playing my game and another popup shows a feww mins later. And I haven't have any porn on my computer! I do have a popup blocker that sucks! Does any1 know a popup blocker that actually blocks every single popup or there is a solution?Plz I need to stop these irritating popups right away!

Hello. Recently I got a pop up that stated something about WinAntiVirus. This occurred a couple days ago and since then I have not received any type of message like this. I did virus checks and other scans as well. I really want to make sure that everything is off my computer and that if there is I hope to get it off and have this never occur again. Right now my computer consists of AD-AWARE 2007, MCAFEE VIRUS PROTECTION(FROM COMCAST),CCLEANER, WINDOWS DEFENDER, and finally YAHOO! ANTI-SPY. So I have ran all of these scanners and they have no found anything except for tracking cookies and MRU(which I found in AD-AWARE). So i was wondering does this mean there is not harmful things on my computer? Also is this enough protection for my computer?

Was trying to get a knitting yatn conversion chart and tried these two sites, 2.nbwtejr.info/44html and 6qbjoptsc.info/91.html.
Both sent me to window that asked if my computer was running slower than usual, could they run a check. I clicked cancel but it ran it anyway and then told me I had some trojan horses to be deleted but I needed to download a file from Windows alert first.There was no Windows symbol on the page so was suspicious. I had to click on several exits to get rid of it. Am I being paranoid?I have Spybot and Adaware and AVG.

Hi! I have these huge problem. I can't get rid of this stupid spycrush virus. I have tried everything! I have ran my Norton 3 times and have tried several other anti-spyware things.
