If you don't have an antivirus software installed in your pc., here is an excellent free program from AOL, Active Virus Shield, powered by kaspersky of Russia. Rated # 1 in the world for virus detection. You will get auto., updates every hour on the hour, plus has an excellent real time scanner in the background that really works. AOL, will only ask you for your email so they can send you a free key good for one year. After one year just request a new key.

Remove the out of date one as you can only run one antiviurs program in our system. Otherwise you will have serious conflicts.

Install all the programs listed above to protect your computer on multiple levels.

No seriously, uh pick one free well recommended AntiVirus program, remove everything else, and install it. i.e. AVG Free.

When you say out of date sounds like either you need to update the whole program or update the definitions. So if it's update whole program, go get your free AntiVirus program if not then go get your AV updated.

For your PC to be OK, you have to protect it from viruses and hackers!
The virus is a small program that attach itself to other files from your computer and can harm your computer, by restarting it, freezing it or even by deleting your files or stealing your personal information.
To keep your computer safe from viruses you have to use an anti-virus program, like Norton, AVG, Kaspersky, Avast, Antivir, McAfee, Bit Defender. Some are free and others have trial versions.
Here you have some links to download the free versions of some of the best anti-virus programs, as well as other security tools:
