This is a very serious issue. Phishing scams are souless, faceless money criminals, uncatchable and invisible. How can they be caught? Really, can they be caught?

If you keep up with the latest Internet news you would know. The FBI has recently arrested 5 of the biggest of these criminals.

Many of the Phishing Scams are conducted by organized crime orginizations. Some are in the U.S., but most are in other countries. This makes it difficult, but the FBI is doing a great job with them.

The Internet is in the process of major changes. The people and organizations that control the Internet say the changes will do much to stop this garbage. The changes are still several years away, since it requires replacing all the main servers. According to an article I read, the new Internet will be different than what we know today.

The government hunts for them but a lot of these scams are not even here in the U.S. Some of the scams are being done in countries we don't have very good relations with.
