tsk tsk.. nawtee nawtee nawtee.....lol.. anyway.. go online.. click tools, click internet options, and then browing history if your comp. is updated, or delete history, and delete the temporary internet files and cookies. That ought to do it.. however, not to say the can't confiscate the computer and search hidden areas of the hard-drive?! ---> possible. Also if your on a campus network?.. um... the network server would would have stored the ip address's where you visited?... I hope they informed you of their policy (monitoring of internet acitivity) we have that at work, where we are on a network and can trace internet activity to see if ur working or goofing off online! haha.. it's legal too!

All that adult content is still on your PC. It doesn't matter if you f"flushed" your Windows history. It still can be recovered using Windows recovery programs. You have to perform a "secure delete" to remove information porn permanently. This is the only real way to erase information off of magnetic media. This works by encrypting the data and deleting it many times over until its nothing more than unreadable code. Shredding is another technique but not nearly as effective. Also. The US Dept of Defense endorse "secure delete" as the only way to permanently remove data. The web page below will show you how.

I serious doubt if your university has a computer forensic expert. If they do, then you will have a problem. I don't care what any expert tells you or any software that claims they can clean your HDD, with bleach or the "Gutman", wiping over and over, this will not stop an expert from striping the data off your pc.
There is only one way and that is to remove the HDD, and beat it to death with a hammer. Then no expert can strip the data off the HDD.
1) have you serched files, by typing in "jgp", your pc will scan and you may find some porno photos that may come up & you can delete.
2) Delete your history, temp. files, and all cookies. from your IE tool bar, drop down to Internet Options, peform the deletions.
As for you HDD, only you know if your university has computer forensic experts. If they don't then you have nothing to worry about if you have cleaned all areas possible.
If your university is on a network server, you are really in trouble as they will have a copy of everything stored in their servers.

Make sure you delete the files and cookies. If you use Internet Explorer, go into Control Panel - Network and Internet Connections - Internet Options. If you use Firefox, go into Tools - Clear Private Data and delete it all, just to be safe. I don't know if there's anywhere else you need to delete it. If he just got it straight off the internet, I think that's all you can do, but if he downloaded something on say, limewire, then you need to go into your video files and delete them, but also the incomplete files. They are there too, until you delete them.
If it's still on the hard drive, you might just need to go into My Computer and go through all your files manually. I guess it all depends how well they check your computer. Oh yeah, and kick the guy's @ss for trying to get you in trouble!

Appeal! IT DOES WORK...I got ALL my points back even though they took 6 weeks to reply. Dear Customer, Thanks for writing to Yahoo! UKIE Customer Care. Thank you for your query regarding the Question and Answer content that was recently removed from Yahoo! Answers. Normally, we cannot enter into personal dialogue over individual deletions, however content is generally deleted if it is in violation of the Answers' community guidelines. I know you have had some of your submissions deleted and you feel it is unfair. I have determined that the submission to Yahoo! Answers that you mentioned in this posting was erroneously deleted. I have credited 10 points back to your account. I know it is only a small token, but it was all that I had approval to give you.

to delete the files in xp go to
C:\Documents and Settings\-yourusername-\local settings\
open the history folder and delete everything inside. like today friday, thursday, lastweek and all that stuff.
then go back to local settings and open the temperary inet files and delete all that.
then back in local setting delete everything in the RECENT folder.
everyone here didn't even mention this folder. but its there
then open IE and click tools - internet options - content tab - auto complete - and clear forms
love the thumbs down. All the info in here is pure direct and presices. firefox as solved this reaccouring problem for me permantly, yet I still get a thumbs down. Geez I swear
you should download firefox and go to the settings and have it cleanup personal data after itself.

Good gracious.
Unlike some of the jerks on here I acutally believe that it wasn't you who watched it.
Anyway, if you have Firefox go to tools/clear private data and clear anything you think it would be under. I'd clear everything just to be safe.
Good luck!
I hope you don't get in trouble for something you didn't do!

I wouldn't worry to much about the hard drive as they would probably have to pull the comp apart to scan it. However if you have to use a code to get on the internet they prob know what you have been watching anyway
