Does it accomplish anything? Which program is better too run? Windows firewall, or my Norton firewall?

You can run two firewalls, but it is not usually recommended. It is possible for them to interfere with each other and slow down the computer. I run a software firewall and a hardware firewall, and that works well.

Another reason not to run two firewalls is it uses up memory (RAM) and hard drive space. This can also slow down your computer as well as adding to your problems of the two firewalls possibly conflicting with each other.

Good luck.

Do NOT run 2 firewalls. Since you have Norton firewall use that one exclusive.

I wouldn't recommend using 2 software firewalls, they will likely interfere with each other.

I'd suggest you use your norton firewall. The one that comes with windows is pretty basic. Norton is more powerful.
