My frist comment is: You are taking risks with your computer and also others, as yours is now a great candidate for a bot, one that is used to spam others without you knowing.

Remember your living in the real world, not in isolation, and your lack of consideration for others causes us to get more rubbish and problems.

If I were you I'd think again, as there is a chance that if you are used by illegal users, you can also find yourself in trouble with the law.

Did you go into control panel, then firewall and turn off the warning, just select I have a Antivirus or Firewall.
Or
Click start run gpedit.msc, then enter

1. Open Group Policy, then load the group policy you want to apply the change to.

(only on XP Pro).

2. Navigate to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Start Menu & Taskbar
3. Double-click Remove Balloon Tips on Start Menu Items and select Enabled.
4. Ok all the way out.
Or down load TweakUi for XP it will let you do a ton of things.

It is now strongly recommended to have a firewall, antivirus, and antispyware paid subscription security software installed, updated, and running continually for personal and computer security. It is also recommended to join at least one avenue of information and/or help such as groups or forums or RSS news feeds or simply checking any Internet News publication on security at least on a weekly basis.

How exactly do you take care of intrusion attempts and malicious software "on your own" without firewalls and anti-virus programs? If you're that skilled you would know how to stop the pop-up.

It would also help to know if you're using Vista or XP.
