Ok most likely the virus or spyware has added an entry into ie addons. So go to ie, click tools, click manage addons, look for something that dosent belong or has no publisher or a publisher that does not start with a capital letter.. try disabling the ones with no publisher one at a time if it fixes the prob leave it disables if not re-enable it an try the next one. It is much easyer for someone that knows what their looking for but with trial and error you can do it too.

What browser are you using? Its probably a bug inside the browsers. I once had a problem with ie7, where whenever i turrn it on, my computer would shutdown. I did a full virus and spyware scan in safe mode. i also reinstalled ie7, removed some unknown files, and it fixed the problem.
If your not using firefox already, use that. This might fix the problem. Good luck!

I think you are probably using internet explorer. Instead get Mozilla Firefox, it doesnt have many problems since virus's mainly target internet explorer. If that fails you may need to reinstall the operating system. That will run you a couple hundred bucks unless you know someone who can do it.

Download and run this free program that I use. Excellent free antispyware program that will find spyware and trojans missed by all other antispyware. No conflict with your own antivirus program.

Superantispyware, Download their free version. Update the program and run a complete scan You get automatic updates as well.
