i have just started a 90 day evaluation of "norton anti-virus 2007" and want a few questions answered regarding the software
1.my security center has been disabled since i installed "norton anti-virus",is this ok
2.as the windows firewall has been disabled is the norton firewall better or worse than the windows firewall
3.as automatic updates is part of the "security center" will i still receive automatic updates as i did before?
4.has anyone used the latest version of "norton anti-virus"and is it true that you can use it on 3 home p.c,s?
thanks guys!

Windows genuine advantage, What the heck is this? Is it a critical update. My copy of windows is legit OK, I had to enter a code to activate it. So why do they want to install this software. Is it a program? It phones home? Why? It sounds like spyware to me. I cancelled it though. Will I still get automatic updates from them now or will I stop getting updates now because I didnt install there little program.

There are some people on Answers writing answers such as 'I have the best answer to this question' and then requesting that you click on a link. Do not do so. It downloads a dangerous program onto your computer which acts like a virus to make you buy fake antivirus software.
One such member is called Jessica R. 'her' account needs to be terminated now. Does anyone know how we go about this?

I can't and I've tried everything that I can think of? Anyone that can help knows the deal. Thanks in advance for anyone that can help!

I seem to have a lot of trouble with getting trojans, viruses, etc. Most of the time my antivirus I use now (avast! home) will catch these things, but sometimes it won't.
I tend to download a LOT of content from torrents, like movies, tv shows, music and applications (to test to see if I want to buy them)
I suspect (more like assume) this is where they come from.
What do you all use for antivirus software and what in your opinion is the best one out there? I will buy it because I am getting sick of having to format my drive every few months because my virus program can detect the problems, but can't seem to fix them.

Thanks!
