Nope, if you forgot it, the only way to log back into windows is to reformat the computer and reinstall windows. This have been discussed several times at a computer tech site I help out at.

try logging in to the administrator user. If you did not supply a passowrd for this user at build time it most likely does not have one so don't enter any passowrd and see if it lets you in. If it does as the administratos you can reset your user password in the control panel. Hope this has helped you.

hey there!!
forget all the crap these people hv written about formatting ur disk,
do the following:
1. boot in safe mode, to do this, press F8 before the win xp boot screen appears, then in the list which appears choose "safe mode"
2.now wait for the welcome screen, login into any other administrator acc which is not pass. protected.
3. after logging in, go to start
and type in "control userpasswords2" (only type the thing inside the quotes) and press enter
4. here choose the acc whose pass u hv 4gotten and click on "reset pass" and here type in a new pass.
5.now click OK and then restart ur comp..
6.now login to ur acc wit ur new pass...
best of luck!!

No. The only way is to reinstall the core os w/o reformatting your disk and it will reinstall your kernel with new admin info. Big problem with this is you'll lose your applications in the registry. You won't lose your data if you don't reformat.
