Click on Internet Tools
Click on the button to Delete Cookies
Click on the button to Delete Temporary Files
Click on the button to Clear the History

This will cover all your bases short of hiring a hacker. MOST users who would come behind you on your computer will not be hackers either, so this should do the trick well enough.

Also, if you're wanting to clear your search boxes - like on yahoo, google, etc. Just click once in the blank search box and highlight (one by one) your searches and hit the delete key. It will remove them so that no one can tell what you've been searching for.

Good Luck.

You can do it by hacking the registry, not recommended for amateurs. If you have to ask how you probably lack the necessary computer skills and should not attempt it. You could corrupt your OS and make your computer nonfunctional.
