I have two accounts on my home computer. One for my wife and I and one for my teenage daughters. Both are administrator accounts and our daughters has recently become password protected. I suspect their up to something and need to know if there is a way I can get into their user account without changing their paswword? Please help!!

Log in your Administrator account and go to My Computer
Go to C: drive > Documents and Settings > [your daughter's account] folder
You can view her Desktop files, icons, etc.
You can view her Documents (pictures and such)
Advice would be to turn your daughter's account into a guest account and not allow password. She will have to have permission to install programs. Do it before she turns your account into Guest and she forgets her password then you'd be in some trouble.
Control Panel > Users/User Accounts
Click daughter's account
Remove the password
Change account type to Guest.
Put a password on your account so she can't do administrative things.

In any NT based system i.e. Windows 2000/XP/Vista there is no security. Log into in your account go to my computer, click open the system drive that is C: drive. Here you can open the Document and Settings folder. From here you can access the accounts of your daughters unless they are using a third party folder protection software.

just start into safe mode choose the adminastrator account remove the daughters password and tell them no more passwords

be a parent and tell them to take it off
plain and simple
