I suddenly saw a blinking icon (a Mine) when clicked it opens a site called ViruBursters, every few minutes i get a "Critical System Error" telling me i have the latest infection of spyware : CyberLog-X, another banner comes ans says i am infected with Malware. Non of these come from Norton Security that i have.... any helpers around...

I have the program 'rambooster' installed on my pc
its telling me that i have 68mb of free ram at the moment.Is this enough free ram?my computer seems to be still running slower than im used to.its been running slow for a couple of weeks now.The only programs i have running on startup is my anti-virus avg free,avg anti spyware and my rambooster.
I also have adware se and spy-bot s and d installed,but nither of these run on start up.I also run my disk cleanup every other day,and my disk defragmenter (the one that comes with xp)and ive just installed about a week ago 'auslogic disk defragmenter,which i run daily.Can anyone tell me.. am i running theses programs too much,or not enough?or do i have too many anti-virus/spyware etc programs on my pc? (the firewall i have is the one u get with win xp).

I get email from everyone else only once. the other computers in the house is just sending emails on their own. No one sending them. Is something stuck? Virus? What do I do

"Bobbi Peacock" and "Foster Santiago" both sent the same e-mail addressed to dear homeowner regarding holiday homeowner loans. These were not sent to my Yahoo e-mail but rather to my work e-mail. I'd like these to stop. Typically I block such sites, but since the addresses are Yahoo I don't want to block the site. For now I'm just junking those specific addresses.

I use windows 2K prof. on 2 computers "A"(Bad) & "B"(ok)

The computer starts Windows 2000 Prof.
and after "Windows is starting up" comes on the screen,it goes blank and
starts a count down while displaying:

*** STOP: 0x0000007F (0x00000008,0x00000000,0x00000000)
UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP
Beginning dump of physical memory
Dumping physical memory to disk: (counting 0 through 100)

After count 100, there is some text in a flash so fast that I can't read it
Then the computer starts Windows 2000 Prof. and after displaying
"Windows is starting up" it goes blank and repeats the process

in SAFE mode
I used AVAST to check for viruses and found a Trojan virus
File name: C:\awossir.exe
Malware name: Win32:Trojan-gen (Other)
Malware type: Virus/Worm
VPS version: 0650-2, 11/23/06
I deleted it from 11 places and ran AVAST 3x without finding any more
viruses, the computer is clean but it still has the above "Loop" problem.
I tried "Restore to previuous system", and Disk Chec etc. didn't fix it.
I can buy Win 2k Pro OEM CD but hope someone can fix without that.

Who ever had the computer put the password in and I don't know it and I can't download or get on the internet because I don't know the old password. Please help me. I cant afford another computer and my kids really need a computer to help with their homework. I called someone that works on computers and they told to keep hitting the F8 key and go from there but that didnt work.

I am looking for something that can not only block "true" access to the internet (explorer security settings you can get around with searchs in Yahoo or Google), but I'm also looking for something that will log what, where, and when sites are gone to. I also need it to be unseen, to "work under cover".

Has anyone used this product? It's description seems to fit with what I'm looking for, but is it as easy to use as it says? Can it "work under cover" fairly easy? And what type of information does it send you in an email when tracking activity?

I work as a security guard in the control server room and the temperature is getting to cold due to the winter weather. The temperature is currently reaching 15 to 10 Celcius. Can there be anything in the computer equipment in the server room that would get damaged by this temperature?

I downloaded an mpeg file on my hard drive that doesn't work. Now I can't delete it, I can't move it, nothing. It's like a tattoo! I ran a complete system virus scan and deleted any questionable content, but the mpeg is still there. How can I make this go away?
