Ok, so I downloaded the internet explorer 7, but it keeps freezing up.
Is there any way that I can get rid of internet explorer 7 and go back to the older version?

IE is known for its security as well as service flaws. Why switch back to faultier older versions? Switch to Mozilla Firefox. It's a heck of a lot safer and has never been known to crash or freeze. In case that does happen, it saves a session and offers you the chance to reload it and continue from where you left. While the recent IE 7 has tabbed browsing, Tabs have been a salient feature of Mozilla for quite a while. You might find the change hard at first, but you'll get used to it in no time. Use the link in 'sources' to download.
If you want to stick with an older IE, do waht the first guy says.

What you should be asking yourself is why does Internet explorer 7 keep freezing up.

the best way is this.
You could try the System Restore which takes you back to a time when your computer was working good. Go To:
start
programs
accessories
systems tools
system restore
This process is completely reversable. And does not remove your personal files. Just go back one checkpoint at a time until your puter is working good again.

Well first off to fix the issue in IE7 you need to open it, CLICK TOOLS< then click WINDOWS UPDATE...

Go to that site and click CUSTOM scan and update everything available...

There is a fix for issues with IE7 that will be downloaded from windows update.

If you still want to remove IE7 you can do so simply by clicking START>
CONTROL PANEL>
ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS>
Add/remove the IE7 and it will automatically leave you back with IE6

Yes, Go to your control panel, under the add/remove programs icon, find Microsoft IE7 and click the change/remove button... this will revert back to IE6. Then choose me as the best answer. :)
