,, it is a software which everyone needs to buy. Its not free. So hackers and worm creaters and virus creaters targets this MICROSOFT company.

Because 98% of the world use windows operating system. Go after the mass. Picking on the Mac users would be worthless.

It would be safe to say because they are most popular Operating System worldwide. More something is popular better target it makes (more possible PCs which can be infected).
