I work as a security guard in the control server room and the temperature is getting to cold due to the winter weather. The temperature is currently reaching 15 to 10 Celcius. Can there be anything in the computer equipment in the server room that would get damaged by this temperature?

I would not think there would be any issue with just hot or cold temperatures during shipping. The main thing to do is to let the product acclimatise to your house before use. This is especially important with electronic equipment. Often they get cold during shipping, and once moved into a warm environment, condensation can occur internally and if connected to an electrical supply could damage the item. Always try to leave new electronic equipment 24 hours in the room they will be used in before hooking up the the power. Discs should be protected from direct sunlight, as this could cause them to warp and consequently malfunction.
