My messenger was infected with virus as its behaving strangely these days. Now because of which i'm not able to c "RUN" options in my start menu. Whn i go for shortcut of run-it tells me "restricted access bcoz of administrator permissions" but i'm administator of my computer. & in further my task manager option is missing from my ctrl+alt+del seletion screen & from shortcut menu whn u right click on task panel. i'm using winXP SP2. i checked for all logs & events with this reguards & i found no results as to y this is happening. i suspect its a virus. if it is one, as i suspect, i would like to have a fix for it as well.

I play an online sim game and people are all the time saying that someone has hacked into their account and stolen their sim money and items. How easy is it to hack an online game account like that if the person doesn't give out any information about themselves? I am stuck between feeling sorry for these people, and being annoyed because maybe they are just lying wanting
attention.

ON MY MSN IM HAVING THIS WRITING AND LINK .SAYING IS THIS YOU AND A LINK BUT ITS A VIRUS BUT ITS TRICKING PEOPLE INTO OPENING IT SAYING IS THIS YOU .ITS DOING IT WITHOUT ME TOUCHING THE MOUSSE AND IT GOES THREW ALL OF URE ONLINE CONTACTS SENDING THEM THIS LINK AND MESSAGE WHT COULD THIS BE DOING THIS AND HOW WOULD I SOLVE THIS problem to stop being continued.

the file will not be deleted, renamed, cut, copy, etc... it is a video file that will open in the wmp but will not play. the file will also not move out of the folder it was downloaded to. can anyone help?

I have web root spy sweeper and mcafee but they don't clean it out. Its the second time I have had it. I have brought it to a computer place twice to get a system cleanout for 125bucks but I don't want to do that a 3rd time.

almost to the very day my computer began malfunctioning and pop up ads began disrupting my web surfing. Then i see the ad which says i.e. 7 makes the internet safer? Is this a con-game? are we being scammed? Is it a sin to force people to buy upgrades by producing viruses that warrant the purchase of antiviruses JUST to GET rid of them?

my dad said downloading music from the internet when you pay is still illegal and i asked them my friends do it and they dont get caught by the cops.
