I have searched threw a few anti virus and firewall definitions, and it looks as if sasservice.exe is not a virus

there should be a little button on the back of your firewall somewhere that you can only depress with a finely pointed object like a pen or pencil. Locate this, press and hold for 30 seconds this will reset your firewall settings. It sounds like someone may have hacked your firewall and enabled authentication on it, which has locked you out. Did you have a secure network set up prior to this problem? If not, this is most likely the issue. Upon resetting your firewall, please assure that you change the user name and password and enable wep encryption.

This happens if you have updated windows securities from time to time or if you have a software app like Nortin firewall installed. Usually it is safe to allow as long as you verify the source

I dont know, I wonder if you are infected with the Sasser worm? Search your comp for it and find its properties and have a look at it.
