It was reported already to hackerwatch. What would be the right thing to do. Since it never got through should I just let it go?

I have tried all of the normal fixes. Ad-aware SE, Spybot search and destroy, and even a lesser-known one called counterspy. My definitions are up to date, I run the scans, but I'm still infected.

The scan will catch the problem, and then delete it. Shortly after, the problem will just appear again. I think there must be a program reinstalling whatever I delete. I need to know what is the next step I can take when the normal anti-adware software is not being helpful.

I have this one program, sunThreatEngine, that is taking up a silly amount of my system resources. I highly suspect it.

Please give me some advice here. I am sick and tired of pop ups flooding my screen and gumming up my system.

Somehow or other, I downloaded something called PC Registry Cleaner onto my computer, to fix a problem. Of course, they said it was "free" so I'm a sucker, and now they want my credit card number before they will exit from my computer. It shows up every time I go to my Yahoo page and it is really ticking me off! If I give them my credit card number (they want security code, too) how do I know I won't be ripped off? Buyer beware! (Who can I report this VERY unethical behavior to, and get quick results?)

I installed AVG on my computer after a recent outbreak of spyware, trojans and various assorted wares fro mthe internet. While scaning, in the backround, it said that a certian file had a trojan in it and wanted to know if i wanted to clean it. Well, i decided to clean it and thought nothing of it. Everytime afterwards when i start up my copmuter it says that it cant find the uhvjsul.dll file but nothing else. It doesnt seem to effect me using the computer in any way. Is there any thing to do about this??

Just about anyone with an e-mail address gets spam, and sometimes a lot of it is phishers trying to rip people off: "I am Mr. Gupta Gupta of the Commerce Bank of Nairobi..." etc. ad nauseum. Do law enforcement agencies ever catch these people?

So yesterday, I downloaded "Codec 4.0" for Windows Media Player, and two seconds later...POP...SPYWARE. I have this program called Freedom, it's free if you have Adelphia Cable Internet (or what is now called "Time Warner Cable"), and it use to work like a charm, but I delete all my spyware files with that program, but they're still THEREE. I treid Spyboy Search & Destroy, but it doesn't work neither.

Now I have to live with "Virus Burst" on my taskbar 24/7, and watch it pop up saying "Critical System Error! Download VirusBurst!" every four seconds. I'm getting so mad, and I would appreciate any help that can be offered.

By the way, NO, I am not paying for some spyware program when I already have two that *SHOULD* be working.
