I work in a company that use spector pro and im tired of they using my information in many cases personal and private.

I hear that is sometimes virtually impossible to find out but probably someone knows how to do it, or the name of a good software ( i dont care the price)

If is the case please help me, thank you in advance for read this and your help.

When it expires, you need to buy it. Is there anything i can do to reinstall it back to day 1. Should i mask my IP or is there something you have to cahnge in the registry so that the trial version will not noticed it. It's hard to fool giant companies but maybe this one.

I installed Ad-Aware on my computer, and it doesn't detect any suspicious files. Yet adware pops up whenever I open Internet Explorer. I use Firefox primarily, but I'd like to get rid of the adware on Explorer still. Is there a preferences folder I can get into and delete the file(s) manually? I even reinstalled Windows XP on my computer and still the adware remains.

AVG Free Edition 7.1 has found virus( TROJAN HORSE COLLECTED 8.AP) in my computer ,

it is thr in virus vault

i have deleted the file containing that virus , WHAT ELSE SHOULD I DO .

I use a firewall called ProtectX Professional Edition, and it warns me when a connection is attempted and it also gives me the option of finding out where the attempt was made from. It is ALWAYS an Asian address. Should I worry?

My brother and I take turns using the computer. I've tried getting a little timer that went on the desktop that had a pop up come up when his turn is over but he always has an excuse why he needs to stay on and he gives me a hard time, making me wait a while before he can finally log off. Is there some way I can just press a key on the keyboard to 'lock up' the computer or some other simple way?

on my daughters comp, there is Mcafee, AVG, spybot and Nukerxt.. the only one picking up 3 trojans, is Mcafee.. i can't clean, delete or Quantine.. soo i'm thinking the only way 2 remove them, is 2 delete Mcafee : ) which i don't trust anyways.. any ideas anyone ? the comp is running a little slow as is..

I post that question and got 8/9 answers with hundreds of web sites which all offer freescan but ask lot of money to delete and if there is free its not detecting any thing like my Macafee

I was downlaoding while an icon appears at the right bottom corner and it says 'Critcal system error'(flashing and changing from X to ?) and after few minutes another icon apperas next to the first saying 'System Alerts:Malware threats', on clicking it takes me to a web page http://www.virusburst.com/?aff=334... and http://malwarewipe.com/?rid=247...
My internet explorer stop working and on clicking it goes to http://safeiepage.com/ and its not allowing me to go to any other site
I run the latest MaAfee. virus scan but it coulnd detect anything.

Anybody help me please

It says in the box to click on it and get the latest software to fix this,then I do and it comes right back.I know it's some kinda popup crap,but there's got to be I way I can find it and get it out!HELLLLLP ME!!!! Oh and it is pointing downward to the bottom toolbar at a red ball with an X on it.Please, please help-I'm going berserk!

This came into my email just today. It sounds fishy to me. This is the email address that sent it, supposedly. secur@areainc.com There's an attachment I'm not opening which is identified as Update-KB6890-x86.zip (17KB).

How do i get this crap off my computer. I have ran 3 different scan and remove programs and its still there. I have Verizon online protection and i have removed all the threats it finds. I have a program on my system called elitemediagroup.net and i think thats where it is all coming from but i click remove it says its been removed and asks me to reboot but when i restart its still there. Im about to break something..lol. Please help.

Norton firewall is blocking windows firewall even thou windows has norton on the accept programs. I still havent figured it out, how to make norton accept windows firewall.

I was just surfing some webpages and i didn't click on anything, and all of a sudden a Symantec AntiVirus Notification came up and said there's a Virus Found. It Quarantined it, but now on my computer there's a lot of pop-ups. When I look at the quarantined items they're all ".exe" files. Is it safe to delete all these files that are in quarantine because they're .exe?
