So you "found" this lap top and you've decided that makes it yours? Right.... Doesn't matter if you really did just *oops* "find" it, the fact that you'd use it speaks of your character enough!
If you're concerned about returning it to its rightful owner, try brining it back to the place you found it or turn it into the police. If the owner is smart, they have a record of their serial number.
