What you should do is go to your start menu and click on control panel, then click on add or remove programs, remove the antivirus program and re download it again. You'll receive it for another 30 days free, but keep in mind free trials on antiviruses don't completely protect your pc.

It's a piece of cake: First, you should uninstall the expired program by finding its uninstall icon (if it has one) either in the Program group in the Start menu or by finding it under 'Add/Remove Programs' in Control Panel. Then reinstall the setup.exe file for the prog that you downloaded earlier. Additionally, you can go to download.com and check for a newer version of the program.
Keep in mind that if you found the program to be useful, consider purchasing the full version, or the developers that made it won't be around in the future.

Don t pay or play around with it, use a 100% free anti-virus.
Here is a list of all the major free anti-virus programs:
Avast:

Anti-Vir:
http://www.free-av.com/
AOL AntiVirusShield:

AVG:

BitDefender 8: (on-demand only, no real-time protection)

Clamwin: (on-demand only, no real-time protection)

Personally, I use the AOL AntiVirusShield. Don't let the name AOL scare you. AntiVirusShield is made by Kaspersky which is one of top-rated anti-virus vendors in the world.
In recent tests, the most popular free anti-virus, AVG, was only able to detect about 82% of a very large sample of viruses. On the other hand, AntiVirusShield was able to detect better than 99% in the same test.

AOL AntiVirusShield has excellent virus detection rates and is extremely light on using your computer resources.
Free to anyone, AOL member or not.

Do not do this it is illegal, I know you want stuff for free but it is worth it, anti virus is your life saver and trying to get it extended for free is not a good idea, try another company there are loads on the web and then you are legal
