Every morning I get up and find that I've got loads of spam emails, you know the usual garbage. I ran Norton and syware doctor and that usually solves the problem. But they're still coming.
My friend said something about the start menu and undetectable things latching on to it. Anyone got any ideas? cheers

I know that it costs about 100$. But is that all I have to spend to receive the Microsoft security updates? My technician says that in addition to this about 200-300$ more has to be spent to completely 'tune up' the computer and also says that I will get nothing if I just get the genuine XP Home. Is it really true? I just want to receive Microsoft's security updates and don't require any other 'tune up's. Please help with a detailed and enormous answer! I am losing my patience!

I only use this single home computer to access my Yahoo and Yahoo Messenger Accounts! Yet for the last month I have been getting these (signed in at other location) messages! I have changed my password, and that stopped the "anomaly" for about two weeks! However the Occurences have reappeared and I am concerned! Is there any way to find out from where my Yahoo Messenger is being alternately signed in from?

Very shortly after it begins to remove files, I get an uninstall error message telling me that it is unable to remove the program. I searched the Symantec support site, but it doesn't seem to offer much help. Does anyone have an idea how I can get my computer to uninstall this program? Please keep it simple. I am not a computer wiz :). Thanks.

Do you think someone has broken into my account?

It reads:
Your password for this account has recently been changed. You don't
need to do anything, this message is simply a notification to protect
the security of your account.

Please note: your new password may take a while to activate. If it
doesn't work on your first try, please try it again later.

I received an E-mail that looks legit, but am wondering if it's a scam. Have any of you out there received anything like this, or heard of anything like this? The eBay message says that my account has been suspended because my password was compromised and that, as a result, I should change my OTHER passwords... like my Yahoo password. I went ahead and changed the Yahoo password..... or am I just having my leg pulled?
