If you're using offine system you probably won't need to update or even use anti virus software because mostly you get out of risk when offline

However, you still may update offline but special packages released from anti-virus software company. ( Update online is, in fact, we download the packages from the site and them install them)

There are antivirus software that won't allow offline update.

Im using Symantec Antivirus and this baby can be updated offline with the latest virus definitioin files. Be sure to download the latest DAT file and run it in your pc.

Use a computer that is online and download the program, save it to the HD, update it, then copy it to a disk. You can then install it on your computer.

try downloading it from a computer at a cyber cafe or at the library, or something, and then transfer it to your computer. if you don't go online on the computer, there's really little use for an anti-virus software, because there isn't really a source for the virus to enter the computer. i hope this helps!!

No you have to be online to upload or download. The only other way would be to order the software via mail.

You can request the most current software from the vendor, but unless you are uploading a lot of corrupted software, your chances are pretty slim if you are not on-line.

i don't think so... unless you can somehow take it from another computer and save it to disk. But i doubt it. I think you're stuck
