Yes they can, but it has nothing to do with the history, cookies, or anything stored on your computer. Your traffic to the internet has to leave your local company network and pass through a gateway to get to the internet. That gateway typically involves some level of logging and monitoring.
If they are logging the traffic (and, more accurately, monitoring those logs), they'll be able to tell which computer went to which web site at what time.
Proxy servers can be used to "hide" your activity, though many places block proxy servers. Even if they do not block them, if they are tracking use, they'll be able to tell that you went to a proxy site - which may be against your company's acceptable use policy.

Each organization has a network of computers, through which different facilities are shared. Internet access is one of them. On the server, there is a software called proxy server, which acts as a gateway between the computers on the network and the internet. It protects the network from harmful activities from the net. It also keeps record if each browsing request sent from each computer within the network, and also each computer is identifiable by the name/number given to it. So your company can tell you which site was browsed from the computer you are using and on what date and time. And they can also show you a proof of it.

Absolutely.
Your Company's Network Administrator who also keeps the Administrative Rights to your Computer can easily provide an entire transcript of everything and that could put your job in jeopardy. Because it's proof of your having wasted your time on Personal matters during Company time ... a thing that you can get sacked for.

Yes they can. Every site you had chosen wiould be recorded in the history and cookies. You can delete this information from Tools > Internet Options (for internet explorer) or Tools > options (for Mozilla Firefox). But it's not all. Your company may have other softwares to track internet acces.

Yes they can. If the computer uses a server they can use a Server based Keylogger program that will print out everything you typed on your computer. If it is just a desktop computer directly attached to the internet they can install a Keylogger program on the computer. These can send a report to another computer (company owner, manager, administrator etc.).

yes all web sites send a cookie to your cookie file. It also leaves history. like walking in the sand at the beach you leave footprints. You need to empty and clear this cache. Right click on the explorer icon on your desktop and go to properties. Then delete cookies and clear history.
Now your boss wont know you have been watching porn!

They can however I think that there is a program out there called torpak which manages proxy connections to hide the actual sites that you visit from the network administrator. I have never tried to test it.

Man ! I can't believe you whould even ask a question like this.. OF COURSE they can !! -- Do your self a favor and NEVER do anything on your work computer if it is frowned upon by your company. Just do your work or you just might find that you have 8 hours of extra time every day.

Yes they can!!! Just because you press delete doesn't mean it is truly gone. It simply goes to available space & it is there until it is used up or until a smart computer person comes in & finds it....At least that is what my 13 year old nephew told me.
