I have a computer that got a virus and I have been live updating and doing full scans on both antiviruses..how do I know that the virus is actually gone? (The antiviruses don't find any infected files).

i am using Kaspersky internet security and is very good for me better then symantec-norton internet security

unload the Norton Bloatware; get light-weight freeware to do a similar element. maximum commercial suites like Norton & Mcaffee 'hook' the kernel which slows down the gadget & creates many configuration subject matters. Avg, Avast! are advantageous; i decide on 'blink' for this is 'buffer over run' safe practices.

You can have both, but your machine will work better with just one.

it is possible ,but most of the time they conflict with each other
